The Orient Star SJC00002D is a gorgeous watch with a beautiful deep blue dial. In terms of functionality it's a treat as well: a date hand, small seconds and worldtimer function. This means that it's very easy to keep track of a second time zone (through the internal bezel).
Under the hood there's the new Orient 40H60 in-house movement, that 'hacks' and can be wound by hand (and of course automatic). The SJC00002D has sapphire glass with a SAR coating. SAR stands for 'Super Anti-Reflective Coating' and offers several great benefits over regular sapphire glass. For example it suppresses 99% of all reflections, which means the glass is nearly invisible. This material is also used in high-end binoculars.
